Rita F. Alves dos Santos is Coordinator of the Netherlands Research Integrity Network (NRIN) and Project Lead at the Center for Research Integrity and Open Science (RIOS). Since September 2026, Rita has been the Project Manager of the Horizon Europe CATALYST project (2026-2030), which aims to catalyse researchculture by embedding proven reproducibility tools and practices into daily practice across diverse departments in Europe and beyond. Rita has also been involved in other Horizon projects, including CATALISI (2024-2026) and INTEGRITY (2019-2021). In 2026, she led a study assessing Amsterdam researchers' perceptions, experiences and needs for fostering a positive research culture (publication inprogress). From 2022-2023, she worked as Executive Director at the European Network for AcademicIntegrity (ENAI). She holds a PhD in Physical Geography from the University of Hull (UK).
